Ten Days of Prayer
On 20th July 2025 we will say farewell to Paul and Jackie.
To prepare for the next season and for appointing a new vicar we are beginning by inviting the whole church family to listen to the Holy Spirit and share what they hear.
The ten days of prayer will run from Sunday 27th April to Wednesday 7th May. We are keen to enable everyone in our church family to contribute and are therefore starting at our Sunday gatherings and ending at our midweek gathering.
Here are the key events during this time:
Sunday 27th April
Time of listening together to the Holy Spirit at our 8 & 10 Gatherings.
Prayer gathering in Jacob’s Well, 7 - 8pm
Wednesday 30th April
Time of listening together to the Holy Spirit at our Midweek Gathering.
Online prayer gathering from 8 to 9pm
Sunday 4th May
Time of listening together to the Holy Spirit at our 8 & 10 Gatherings followed by an act of response to share what we are hearing.
Wednesday 7th May
Time of listening together to the Holy Spirit at our Midweek Gathering followed by an act of response to share what we are hearing.
Jacob's Well
Our 24/7 prayer room will be open as usual. There will be an installation in the prayer room to provide prompts for prayer and opportunity for you to share in writing what you are hearing from the Holy Spirit.
Sharing our prayer
As we pray together, we are looking forward to hearing from each other our senses of what the Holy Spirit is saying to us. Perhaps you will have a Bible passage, some specific words of prayer or prophecy, or an image. You will be able to share these in three ways.

There will be postcards available in church that you can write or draw on and leave in the box provided or bring to the gatherings on the 4th and 7th of May.

There will be sticky notes available in Jacob's Well to write or draw on and stick to the wall.
