ONE OFF EVENTS THIS TERM

Sleep out for InHope – 9th-10th October:
 
We are sleeping out to raise money for InHope – a Bristol homelessness charity! They do amazing work in supporting those homeless and at risk of homelessness in our city. See information about the event here: 
Young people 16+ are able to come without a parent (Emelye and I will be there) but children younger than 16 will need to come with a parent/guardian.


Day away + lumo worship night - 17th October:

We’re having another Christ Church Youth day away on 17th of October – exact details and timing are tbc but it’s most likely to be from lunchtime onwards so please do keep this free and pop it in the diary! Excitingly, there is a worship event that evening in Clevedon – luminosity (the youth venue at new wine), are touring and so we’d love as many young people to go to that as possible!

Light Party (and youth after party) - 31st October:
 
We’ll be having a light party again this year! We’d love as many young people as possible to help host and run the evening and then we’ll have an afterparty again after pack down – more info on all of this soon but do pop it in the diary!
 

REGULAR GROUPS

	MEETING POINT, SCHOOL YRS 9-13 When:  Fortnightly on Fridays, 7pm-9pm  Where: Christ Church Clifton, The Crypt  This is a screen free hang out space with games and space to chill and enjoy some milkshakes. There will be table football, pool, ping pong, craft, space to chat and more! This is for you to come with your friends and chill at the end of the week. There will also be a short time of testimony/talking about the bible.  We start back on 18th September and will meet fortnightly excluding half term:                                   2nd October                                  16th October                                  13th November                                  27th November                                  11th December
	JYC, SCHOOL YRS 5-7/8 When: Fortnightly on Fridays, 7pm - 8:30pm. Starting back 24th April!! Where: Christ Church, The Crypt This is a screen free hang out space with games and space to chill. There will be table football, pool, ping pong, craft, space to chat and more! This is for you to come with your friends and chill at the end of the week - there's also a tuck shop! 	PATHFINDERS, SCHOOL YRS 7+ When: Sundays, 10am - 11:45am Where: Christ Church Clifton foyer. Pathfinders is a space for us to play games together, study the bible and pray for the world and each other. We go out during the 10 gathering across the road to the youth room in Linden Gate. This term at Pathfinders we're starting by looking at the church vision and values - encounter, family and transform the city. We're meeting every week from 6th September until 13th December (excluding 25th October).
	YOUTH CAFE, SCHOOL YRS 7-13 When:  Alternate Thursdays, open 3pm- 5.30pm (arrive whenever you finish school for games and a catch up) Where: Christ Church Clifton main building Bespoke is a space for you to hang out, decompress and ask any big questions you have about life + faith. There will be toasties, snacks and hot/cold drinks available! This space is open to everyone regardless of your background/beliefs :) At about 4.30pm, we'll gather together and have a faith based discussion - this term we're going to be thinking about baptism.  We'll start back on the 10th September and meet fortnightly:                                                             24th September                                                              8th October                                                             22nd October                                                             5th November                                                             19th November                                                             3rd December
	LIFE GROUP, SCHOOL YRS 10-13 When: Every Wednesday, 7-9pm  Where: contact us at youth@ccweb.org.uk to find out where we're meeting this week! This is a discipleship space for our older youth. We will share a meal together and then spend time in worship and digging deeper into the bible. This year we’ll be doing an overview of the whole bible starting this term by thinking about ‘origins’ and looking at our search for meaning through the lens of Genesis. We're starting back on 9th September and meeting every week until 11th December (excluding 28th October which is half term).
