Prayer Gathering Monday 1st Oct – 
Our next whole church prayer gathering is on Monday- meeting at 7.45pm. Don’t forget we also meet at 7am in Jacobs Well on Thursdays, and 9am on Saturdays.

Frances Gowers - Sadly Frances passed away last week in her nursing home. We will be holding a Thanksgiving service for her on Tuesday 16th October at 3pm in Christ Church, with refreshments afterwards.

Foodbank collection on 14th October:  We are collecting for the Bristol NW foodbank on 14th October. Items needed include: Tins (meat, fish, veg, fruit, puddings) Cooking sauces, coffee, UHT milk, cereals, fruit juice, jam, instant mashed potato.

Monty Barker Selected Works published – ‘From the Psychiatrist’s Chair’ Many of you will know Rosemary Barker and her late husband Monty, who was a pivotal leader in the life of Christ Church over the years. Rosemary has now produced a book of Monty’s writings. You can purchase the book here www.wordsbydesign.co.uk or there will be a stall in Church over the next couple of weeks.

Housing Festival – A new initiative started by Christian Leaders across Bristol seeking solutions to the city’s housing crisis. The launch is taking place from 19th Oct – 4th Nov. The group are looking for volunteers from churches across Bristol to be volunteers at their events. If you are able to offer some time, please email the church office. Thank you!

Care for the family Parenting Event Thursday 18th October
