Easter at Christ Church
As we approach Easter this weekend, we would love to remind you of the various things going on over the next few days. Thank you to all those who, in various ways, have come on the journey throughout March as we looked at the final week of Jesus’ life on earth. I'm sure you will agree it has been a really thought provoking and inspiring time.
Next week, on April 8th, we will be looking at how far we have come through our ‘Year of Growth’, and looking ahead to the next few months. Our next teaching series will begin on 15th April, and is on the subject of ‘Identity’.

Good Friday
10-11am - Focus on the Cross: A gathering aimed at Primary age children and their families, to think and wonder about what happened to Jesus on that day. Drawing, craft, prayer, videos, music and more! Bring friends, all welcome.
1-3pm - At the Cross of Jesus: Four 30-minute meditations in words and music on the cross: come for as long or as short a time as suits.
7.30-9pm - Good Friday Contemplative Candle-lit Event
9pm-9am- Night of Prayer- Access through Jacobs Well (round to the right hand side of church, on Christ Church Rd side, at top of the steps)
Easter Saturday
9am- Final reading of Mark in Jacob's Well Prayer Room
10am - Meet at church before going into Clifton giving out Easter eggs!
Easter Sunday
6.30am- Sunrise Prayer at the Observatory
10am- One Whole Church Gathering with 2 full immersion baptisms: Alistair Haggerty and Rachael Ashton. We hope to see you there!
Church Family Corporate Prayer - Mon 16th April
We would love you to join us for an hour of prayer at 7.45pm on Monday 16th April, as we look at the term ahead in Christ Church, giving all our ministries to God and seeking him together.
APCM 22nd April
I hope you have this year’s Annual Meeting on Sunday 22nd April at 10am in your diary – it’s one of the most important events of our year, where we choose new leaders to serve on the church council, look back over the past year, present our financial position and set forth vision for the coming year. We’d love as many members of Christ Church as possible to be there. We will not be serving a lunch this year but please stay for refreshments afterwards!
