Kingdom Come

Kingdom Come – On Wednesday

Tickets are selling fast for the ‘Kingdom Come’ city wide event we are hosting here at Christ Church this coming Wednesday, 18th January.

Kris Vallotton is the Senior Associate Leader of Bethel Church in Redding, California. He will be sharing from his own experience of God transforming a city, and how we can position ourselves to play a role in transforming our city and bringing the Kingdom of God to every sphere of society.

Kris will also be exploring what this could look like specifically for BRISTOL, and being very prophetic is likely to share powerful insights from God for this amazing city. It is sure to be an exciting day and we really hope you can come and be involved.

We still have some tickets left, for the whole day (£20) or evening only (£5), book yours here: www.ccweb.org.uk/kingdomcome

Men Behaving Dadly is back

Men Behaving Dadly is back for January tomorrow morning. As usual, we’ll be in the Crypt at Christ Church from 9:30am with toys for the kids, coffee, bacon (or veggie alternative) and papers for the dads, and lots of fun.

Big Lunch Out

On Sunday 12th March, Jackie Langham and Livvy Berry are organizing an event whereby we will ALL have the opportunity to go ‘out for lunch’, to get to know one another better and eat together in some of our homes. If you love to host and cook for people, please email Livvy Berry with your name, address, contact details, number of guests you can accomodate, which service you attend, and whether you can accommodate families with children. Please do this by 23rd January, so we can add you to the list of hosts.

Help needed for the coffee shop

We need help in two very practical ways for The Spire Coffee Shop

Firstly, would you be willing to collect, launder and return around 15 aprons on a weekly basis? You can collect them on Sunday and return them the following week (or any other time that works). If you can do this please email Karie Howard.

Secondly we need someone with good painting skills and about 2 days free sometime over the next couple of weeks to finish painting some of the walls and new woodwork in the café area. If this is you, please email Mark Parsons.
