Christmas Continues

Christmas continues at Christ Church this weekend with three special services on Sunday...

At 10am we have our Family Nativity Service

Family Nativity Service

Then at 5pm and 8pm we have our fantastic Carols by Candlelight services

Carols by Candlelight

We expect both Carol Services to be incredibly popular so do come early. Traditionally the 5pm service has been more popular and last year we had to turn people away, so if you can, please do come to the 8pm service.

Please also be especially welcoming to our visitors and guests on Sunday as this is a fantastic opportunity to show God’s love to our local community.

And finally, we are sorry but due to lack of space and the style of the service, our carol services are not suitable for babies and small children – come in the morning instead!

Christmas Week

Services continue next week with our Midweek Carols at 11am on Wednesday, then services on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

If you are planning to come to the Christmas Eve Christingle Service, we are asking you to bring a pair of new male or female adult (preferably cotton) socks to donate to Caring at Christmas

We’ll send out another email early next week with more details of all our services for Christmas week or you can visit www.ccweb.org.uk/christmas to find out more.

The Big Christmas Take-down

The Big Christmas Take-down will take place on Saturday 7th January from 9am to 3pm. We need lots of help to clear away after the celebrations and also some ‘competent’ painters to paint some of the bare wood installed around the café area and where the pews were removed. Please sign up to help by emailing Gay and Adrian. Lunch will be provided and the day will be great fun!
